On 11 June 1959, twenty passionate farsighted producers created the Ostuni Cooperative Oil Mill in the splendid Ostuni, the so-called the Queen of Olive Trees. Every year, the more than 400 members produce approx. 30.000 quintals of olive from which excellent extra virgin olive oils are obtained.
